Note that you can add an app like Airmail.app as an 'Open Application' action though and then when you drag a file onto this action it will add it as an attachment.

I think it would be a sure thing if you were able to add some more "integrations" with a few non-apple basic apps.

Instead of dragging a file to the grid and have it be sent via Mail.app, have the option to send it with Airmail.app or another app instead.

Maybe this option is already available, or someone else could program it in or something. I really know nothing about coding, so I don't know if this is a big ask or anything like that.
