Topic: Mail Link

Question regarding dragging an attachment onto the mail link icon.

I was expecting this to this open up an blank email with the attachment already (attached), leaving me to put in the recipients address and then press send. What is happening when I drag an attachment onto the mail link is it  simply opens my mail program (mac default mail program) but not a blank email with the attachment included.   

Should mail link do what I am expecting?

When I select a file (say, an image) send it to the built-in Email action in Dropzone it opens up Mail app, composes a new message with the image embedded in the body as expected.

That is exactly what I want to do, I  cannot get the program to do it? Any suggestions?
